North Carolina's #1 Source For Medicare Made Simple!
A lot of insurance agents try to represent multiple products and there is some value to that. It may allow the client to have a one-stop shopping source. But when it comes to Medicare, we think it's different. Considering the constantly changing landscape of Medicare and the myriad of plans available, the changes that take place every year, the carriers moving in and out of the market, and the depth of education that it takes to be valued adviser, we have chosen to specialize in Medicare products only.
Fully a third of all Medicare subscribers now utilize a Medicare Advantage plan. With many plans carrying a monthly premium of $0 as well as having the prescription drug coverage included, it's become a very attractive alternative. Many of the plans also offer extras like fitness membership, some dental-vision-hearing coverage, telemed, transportation, meals, and more. But Medicare Advantage plans are not for everyone and a specialist can help you be sure that it's the right choice for you, or not. If you'd like to see if this would be a good choice for you we'd be happy to help.
Another very popular route Medicare subscribers take is the Medigap, otherwise know as a Medicare Supplement. Coupled with that people will often enroll in a Prescription Drug Plan unless they have credible coverage elsewhere like from the VA or a retirement plan. Medigap plans are arguably the best coverage a person can have but they do come at a much higher cost than Medicare Advantage plans. Typical premiums for a Medigap and PDP vary by state but in NC it averages around $125/month for a 65 yearold female. Beware, the prices will go up almost every year so they can get pretty expensive. But if cost is not a concern this is a great route to take. Let us know if we can help you with this.
